Energy Cranes: designed to perform

API-2C-0072

Energy Cranes are designed to meet the  performance demands of the offshore industry. The cranes are marketed in two ranges:

  • The Box Boom Range
  • The Lattice Boom Range

Whether a near-shore 3-ton capacity box boom or a deep water 300 US ton capacity lattice-boom giant, the same API 2C and Energy Cranes standards apply.

Sophisticated computer aided design and simulation facilities carry out detailed studies which ensure that only high-integrity cranage enters production. Detailed drawings drive tight production and quality control systems at our Houston Manufacturing Center in Texas, where all our cranes are built under licence API-2C-0072.

Once in service, Energy Cranes are designed for ease of access for inspection and maintenance - we recognise that the capital cost of your crane is only the beginning. You need to budget for lifetime operating costs which must be minimised by ruggedness of manufacture and ready maintainability.
