Used Crane Sales

The continuing processes of repair and replacement of client cranes mean that Energy Cranes frequently acquire used cranes for refurbishment and resale.

Typically, these will be hydraulic cranes around 15-20 years old, many with known service records resulting from life-long care responsibility having been held by Energy Cranes companies. The more ubiquitous the crane type was in that era, the more likely we are to have used cranes to offer: models by National, Bucyrus-Eyrie and Linkbelt - and, of course American Aero and Titan - regularly feature in our inventory.

Refurbishments can be simply to manufacturer's original specification or can incorporate off-the-shelf or customised upgrades to enhance safety features or improve ease of operation.

If you are commissioning a new installation, rig or vessel, chances are you will be specifying new cranage. However if you are replacing an ageing or damaged crane on, for example, a mature drilling rig, the savings inherent in buying a used crane from Energy Cranes will be attractive.
